Annual subscription price increase
As a charity we are working hard in our campaign to create a living, working countryside and would not be where we are now without your continued support. We appreciate your generosity and will always find ways to continue our important work, at the same time as offering you value for your Friends subscription.
As part of that effort, we have recently reviewed our pricing structure in relation to general inflation and a number of changes in the industry. Unfortunately we have come to the conclusion that a small price increase on all annual subscriptions is necessary in order to maintain our Friends programme. We have taken steps to minimise our internal costs, but we also want to run a sustainable organisation that is able to deliver the best possible services to the Countryside and to you, our Friends – now and in the future.
The following prices came in to effect on the 1st April 2017 and will be detailed in any renewal letters after this date:

What existing Friends need to do:
If you pay your subscription by Direct Debit:
Nothing. When you’re due to renew your subscription, we’ll automatically collect your payment at the correct rate. We’ll send you your usual renewal letter beforehand to remind you. If you do not wish to proceed with the new amount, you will need to notify us before your renewal date.
If you pay your subscription by cheque or BACS:
If your subscription is due for renewal after the 1st April 2017, please send us the increased payment to cover your next year’s Friend Subscription. We’ll send you your usual renewal letter beforehand to remind you.
For those Friends who have received a renewal letter before the 1st April:
If you have received a renewal letter from us prior to 1st April 2017, please follow the instructions and pay the amount detailed in the letter.
