Be a ‘part of the pick’ at Lark Rise Farm

Become one of the #litterheroes

The CRT are always striving to improve the environment on our farms. And that’s why we’re hosting litter picks in Cambridgeshire, Herefordshire and Surrey!

On Saturday 6th April, come and meet, Dr Vince Lea, Head of Wildlife Monitoring at the layby in Barton at 9.30am. He will lead our CRT volunteers on the Lark Rise Farm, known as the Rustics and anyone else who wishes to help, down to where you can help collect litter!

Lark Rise has many important habitats. Our flagship has a diverse range our wildlife from hundred of Brown Hares,  to wonderful little Water Voles, an abundance of Skylarks and in the summer, in our wildflower borders, even a not so common, ‘Common Blue Butterfly’. Recently Lark Rise was awarded ‘Redlist Revival: Highest Density of Grey Partridge’. We want to keep these habitats clear of rubbish and safe for the natural world that call Lark Rise home.

So why don’t you become one of the #LitterHeroes?

If you are interested in joining the CRT Rustics when they volunteer on the first Saturday of every month, please contact the office on 01223262999 or email
