Marketing Projects Manager

Born in Wales, Rachel spent much of her childhood abroad in North America and Saudi Arabia. Rachel’s exposure to varied landscapes and the indigenous wildlife (both above and below sea level) has inspired a lifelong relationship with the environment. Rachel studied Geographic Information Systems at University and began her career at HarperCollins Cartographic, promoting spatial data to the bourgeoning digital mapping industry. She has since worked in marketing at some of the worlds largest software companies, in the film and insurance industries and at a marketing agency. Rachel has joined the CRT to launch a new education programme aimed at Primary school aged children.

Rachel loves reading, walking with friends, cycling and swimming. She recently climbed Mount Snowdon with her family. When she is not being Mum’s taxi, she spends weekends growing veggies and is passionate about planting species that attract bees and butterflies.

Fun fact - Rachel is a 1st Dan Black Belt!
