A Vital Role
We believe in encouraging people to become involved with the life and work of their local farms, and our Volunteer Support Groups play a vital role in conservation work, wildlife monitoring and organising events.
Explore the UK
As well as helping our countryside and exploring some stunning places around the UK, you also meet some great people that also have the same objectives as yourself.
All are welcome
All are very welcome whatever age or experience! But above all taking part in volunteer activities is hugely rewarding; so why not give it a go.
Lark Rise Rustics
The Lark Rise Rustics is a group which meets on the second Saturday of every month to help with tree and hedge planting, painting gates, clearing scrub, knocking down bracken, pulling ragwort, erecting nest boxes, and other essential work. The Rustics has become quite a social event and we provide hot teas and coffees and often lunch! To join our Rustics, please email us
The Bourn Brook needs your help! The Bourn Free project has been tackling the invasive plant Himalayan balsam on the brook since 2011. We rely on volunteer help and welcome anyone who would like to get involved, please click here for details.Email us
